Admission Criteria for 1st Year MBBS (Session 2024-25)

Rahbar Medical & Dental College (RMDC) is offering admissions in five years MBBS
program to acquire / obtain degree of Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS)
for the academic session 2024-25 duly recognized by the Pakistan Medical & Dental Council
(PMDC). 

Eligibility Criteria (As per laid down PM&DC guidelines)

Local / Pakistani Students

Higher secondary school certificate qualification (i.e HSSC / F.Sc Pre-medical)
or equivalent 12th grade qualification recognized in Pakistan

Having obtained minimum 60% aggregate marks or a higher percentage
as notified by the PMC

Passed the subjects of Biology, Chemistry and either Physics or
Mathematics in the examination of F.Sc / HSSC or an equivalent 12th
grade qualification recognized in Pakistan.

b. Have passed the MDCAT examination and obtained 55% or more as per the
PMC admission policy

c. Equivalence certificate for A levels issued by the Inter Board Committee of
Chairman (IBCC) or other equivalents to 12th grade qualification shall be
required.

2- Foreign or Overseas Students

a. No distinction shall be made in terms of merit and criteria between Pakistani
and Foreign students.

3- Merit Calculation Criteria for Admission in RMDC

a. MDCAT 50% weightage

b. F.Sc (pre-medical / A levels / equivalent qualification 40% weightage

c. SSC / Matriculation / equivalent qualification 10% weightage

NOTE: RMDC will follow the admission policy of PM&DC / UHS. Any change if made in
admission policy by the medical regulatory authorities shall be implemented as such
even after the admission forms have been submitted

4- Fee Structure: fee structure is already approved and displayed on RMDC
website.

As per the directive of the PM&DC vide para 5 sub para 16, the student when
accepting admission at RMDC shall be under obligation to disclose to RMDC if
a prior admission in any other medical college has been accepted. Such
students must submit in writing about the cancellation of his/her prior
acceptance with a copy to the PM&DC on designated email
