The surgery department has two units which provide tertiary surgical care facilities to all employees of Pakistan Rangers (Punjab), their dependents and civilian patients. The department has recently been improved by procurement of Basic and advance Laparoscopic Equipment to practice Minimal Invasive surgery its teaching and training among undergraduates and postgraduates working in Punjab Rangers Teaching Hospital. The department is headed by Professor Dr. Sadaqat Ali along with his team. It provides round the clock emergency cover to all patients brought to the hospital. The department is functioning under 3 surgical team.
