The department is well established and equipped as per the requirements of PM&DC. It consists of outpatient clinics, vaccination center, Neonatal ICU and Paeds ICU, General ward, Diarrhea ward, Isolation and acute care room.
The department has two renowned Professors of Pediatric medicine. Brig (Retd) Dr. Najam ul Hassan has vast experience of working in different Combined Military Hospitals of Pakistan Army. Professor Dr. Muhammad Ali, a renowned professor of Pediatric medicine, has vast clinical and teaching experience of working in Public medical colleges. He has more than 35 publications to his credit and he is an examiner and trainer of FCPS, secretary of Expert Advisory Group Punjab and consultant of Polio Expert Review Committee of WHO.
