Department of medicine and allied is the hub of clinical and educational activities. All major specialties are well-established and providing efficient care to their patients and state of art training to students. It has a well-equipped 10 bedded medical intensive care unit
The department is headed by Professor Dr. Sardar Fakhar Imam, a renowned professor of medicine who has vast teaching experience at graduate and post-graduate level in various Public medical institutions. He retired as Vice Chancellor Fatima Jinnah Medical University.
