The Department is well established in accordance with the guidelines of PMDC. It had two units, fully equipped wards, high-tech labor rooms with CTGs and USG, neonatal resuscitation room , dedicated operation theater and recently added six beds high dependency unit.
Professor Dr. Shahnaz Kausar is the head of the department. She has vast experience of service at various tertiary care public sector hospitals. She is the author of four books on Gynaecology and Obstetrics and has special interest in infertility and Gynaecological Oncology.
