Anatomy

Professor Dr. Qurratulain is head of the department, she is PhD in Anatomy, with a vast teaching and administrative experience in medical institutes. She has 30 years of teaching experience. Presently involved in various activities with University of Health sciences. She is one of contributors in developing integrated Modular curriculum at UHS and she is also member of Review committee of UHS Modular system. She remained Member of BSHG (British Society of Human Genetics UK). She also remained FAIMER Member (Foundation for Advancement of International Medical Education & Research UK).

Department of Anatomy is fully equipped as per PMDC guidelines. It has a spacious dissection hall, latest mortuary and a well-established museum. Cross sectional toro is also available for teaching of cross-sectional anatomy. The histology laboratory is furnished with high quality binocular and projection microscopes. Faculty of the department is well trained for Modular integrated system. Department works extensively to update different integrated teaching and learning strategies. Students are exposed to PBLs, CBLs, Seminars and conferences.
